Aug 17, 2025 Job Description Lorain County JVS is a Career and Technical Education Training Center. It consists of a public high school for students in grades 9-12 and the Adult Career Center which offers training and educational opportunities for adults.
SALARY:
Per placement on the Ohio Department of Education's minimum salary schedule

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree Ohio Dept. of Education Teaching/Substitute Teaching License (or the ability to obtain) Proven ability to work with multiple levels of personnel including administrators, counselors, teachers, parents, and high school students Proven technology related skills. Ability to multi-task in a changing environment Team player - willingness to work effectively in a team environment Desire to motivate and assist young people in setting educational, social and behavioral goals Ability to work with students having a wide range of abilities and skill levels Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Sincere interest and commitment to work with students, parents, staff, businesses, community organizations and associate schools
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
