Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students in an educational setting as a 1:1 Paraprofessional/PCA. This full-time contract position starts as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, giving you the chance to build meaningful relationships and contribute to student success every day.
Key Qualifications:
Experience working as a Paraprofessional or PCA in school environments Ability to provide dedicated, compassionate 1:1 support for students with a variety of needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing situations in the classroom Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support and assistance to a student throughout the school day Help facilitate participation in classroom activities, ensuring access to learning Implement educational and behavioral plans as directed by teachers and specialists Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for the student Assist with personal care needs as required Foster independence while respecting the unique abilities and challenges of the student This contract role allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of a vibrant school community, grow your experience, and develop lasting professional skills.
