INFORMATION
Boise School District Support Staff - A Rewarding Career Serving Students & Our Community () Assist teacher with supporting students in their learning on-site at Ada County Juvenile Detention Center. Curriculum is online and classes are taught and graded by an online teacher through Boise School District's Online Secondary Summer School. District employees will need to complete the online transfer application. NoteSubstitutes and student teachers are not eligible for the transfer application. Please be advised that accepting full-time employment may affect any subsidy for health insurance purchased through the Idaho Health Insurance Exchange. DAYS38 SALARY $23.41 per hour START DATEJune 1st, 2026 JOB
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school, 48 college credit hours, OR Associates degree or higher (transcripts or copy of degree will be required upon hire), OR successful completion of the ETS Paraprofessional Praxis Exam (this exam may be taken after offer of employment has been extended, however, must be successfully completed prior to beginning employment). Facilitate academic resources to assist failing students, including tutoring Perform time management and scheduling functions, meet deadlines, and set project priorities of grant assignment; Ability to organize, coordinate and evaluate grant programs, staff, and volunteer instructors; Prepare and maintain records and documentation; Ability to establish an effective working relationship with students, staff, parents and patrons; Ability to maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude towards students and learning; Ability to follow oral and written directions; Ability to deal with confidential information in a responsible manner.
