In this role, you will deliver engaging educational content to students in various K-12 settings, supporting our mission to enhance learning experiences. Applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and explore homeschool enrichment program experiential learning educational opportunities.
NO TEACHING CERTIFICATIONS
REQUIRED, we will pay for your CO Substitute teaching license for the year to teach at our K-12 part-time school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a productive learning environment, teaching from a passion for education, strong communication skills, able to plan classes for students across various age groups (5- 18 years) and collaborate with community volunteers for learning opportunities and to schedule educational events! Excited to add an energetic and innovative person to join our organization in a part-time capacity @ 12 hours per week, 26 weeks Oct-May, Wed. 8:15am-4:15pm, Tues. & Thurs. Flex planning, educational event and monthly staff meeting. Position starts Aug. 12, 2026. Responsibilities Maintain Teaching Certification with Trainings, Seminars, Meetings, Classes Coordinate & Teach Engaging Programs Across Grades & Curriculum Manage Student Learning, Safety, Communication, Guidance, & Discipline Work w/ Board, Staff, Parents, & Community to Enhance Programs Keep Space, Schedules, & Materials Organized to Maximize Duties Be Prepared and Professional in all Situations in Business Casual Attire Collaborate w/ Organizations, Volunteers, & Businesses for Enrichment Seek Approved Grants or Donations of Time, Materials, & Curriculum Submit Proper Fiscal Requests, Time Sheets, Attendance, Budgets, & Reports Engage in Fundraisers, Meetings, & Other Events Communicate with Admin Verbally & Email about Day to Day Operations Be Proficient with Technology and Microsoft, Google, and Social Media Able to Travel for Classes, Students, Meetings, Supplies, and Activities Assist in Program Operations as Needed Experience Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with classroom management techniques. Experience in private school, homeschooling, or enrichment programs is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Flexibility to work in various locations within the Four Corners area. Willingness to authorize a criminal background check and adhere to the Employee Handbook.
