QUALIFICATIONS
RI Certificate Required, Elementary 1-6 certification Preference given to candidates who hold dual certification in elementary general and special education Bachelor's degree required Mastery of literacy practices, strategies, standards for a literacy-rich classroom environment and demonstrated knowledge in establishing, organizing and managing the learning environment. Knowledge of "teacher as coach" practices. Knowledge of services to English Language Learners. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish a cooperative working relationship with staff, principals, teachers and the central office.

JOB GOAL
To support teaching and learning at Hampden Meadows School as a full time member of the staff
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITY
Covering classes for teachers who are absent or released for professional development and/or team meetings Supporting teachers in the provision and documentation of interventions to include direct intervention, assessment, and progress monitoring Other responsibilities as assigned by the principal
