This role helps ensure continuity of instruction and maintains a safe, structured learning environment for students.

Responsibilities include following lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher, managing student behavior, supporting daily classroom routines, taking attendance, and communicating with school staff as needed. Building-Based Substitutes may work in different grade levels or subject areas throughout the school day, depending on staffing needs.

The position requires flexibility, reliability, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while supporting the school's educational goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified teacher preferred, but not required.

Experience working with school-aged children or in a classroom setting is preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
