Learning Coach — Adventures in Academics Boys Farm, Inc. | Newberry, South Carolina About Boys Farm Boys Farm is a Christian residential children's home dedicated to providing hope and healing to children in crisis. Through our three core program, focused on biblical family-centric residential care, we walk alongside kids as they rebuild their lives in a safe, faith-centered community. The Role Boys Farm is seeking a caring, dependable Learning Coach to support students in our Adventures in Academics micro-school, operated in partnership with Cyber Academy of South Carolina. This isn't a traditional classroom-teaching role — you'll be the on-site guide who helps students stay engaged, on-track, and encouraged through their individualized online coursework, all within a warm, family-style learning environment. What You'll Do Supervise and support students daily as they complete Cyber Academy of SC coursework in an on-campus learning environment Monitor academic progress, attendance, and engagement; flag students who are falling behind Provide one-on-one or small-group help with lessons, reading, and assignments Communicate regularly with Cyber Academy teachers regarding student progress and needs Create a structured, encouraging daily routine that balances academic rigor with emotional support Help maintain a physical learning space that's organized, safe, and conducive to focus Model Christian character and be a stable, trustworthy adult presence in students' lives What We're Looking For A heart for at-risk and hurting children, and alignment with Boys Farm's Christian mission Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (education, child development, or related field a plus, but not required if you bring the right experience and character) Experience working with children is required Comfortable with basic technology and online learning platforms Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with residential and clinical staff Patient, consistent, and calm under pressure Must pass a background check consistent with working in a residential childcare setting Why Boys Farm Be part of a mission-driven team that sees Gospel centered, real transformation in kids' lives Work in a supportive, faith-centered community on a beautiful campus in
