Teachers Now is seeking dependable and passionate Substitute Teachers to support local schools in the Abilene area. Position Details Monday-Friday opportunities Typical school hours: 7:30 AM-4:30
PM Pay:
$90-$110 per day Flexible scheduling School locations throughout the Abilene area What We Offer Choose assignments that fit your schedule Paid substitute teacher training Fingerprinting reimbursement Opportunities for consistent and long-term assignments Hands-on experience working with K-12 students What You'll Do As a Substitute Teacher, you will help ensure students continue learning when their regular teacher is absent. Responsibilities include following lesson plans, maintaining a safe classroom environment, managing student behavior, and supporting students throughout the school day. What We're Looking For 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree Previous experience working with children or students is preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Dependable and professional attitude Ability to adapt to different classrooms and grade levels Veterans, military members, retired educators, and individuals with experience working with children are encouraged to apply!
