Substitute for absent teacher or other staff; provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the academic subject areas assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth; enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Pay rate: $100 per day- no degree $110 per day
- holds a bachelor's degree, non-teacher certified $120 per day
- teacher certified $25 per day incentive
- applied when substitute works 10 or more full days in a calendar month
