EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree (Degreed Substitute Teacher) OR High School Diploma or GED

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Experience working with children preferred. Flexible and able to adjust daily routine. Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees. Must attend Substitute Orientation once application submitted

FEES:

There is a fingerprinting fee (approximately $50.00) associated with this application process.

SALARY:

DEGREED $105 day (daily assignments) $125 day (long-term assignments)

NON-DEGREED

$/90 day (daily assignments) $125 day (long-term assignments)

CERTIFIED

$115 day (daily assignment) TBD (long-term assignments)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for implementing the District's instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated, in accordance with district policies, and procedures on a day to day basis. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
