Rutland County Head Start is seeking dedicated early childhood education Substitute Teachers to join our comprehensive, integrated, and family-centered early childhood program. Flexible Schedule Limited Benefit Package What is Required BA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (early childhood education coursework) preferred Teaching License with Early Childhood Education Endorsement preferred At least two years of experience working within a preschool classroom preferred Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont. •Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire. Head Start is a federally-funded, national child and family development program which provides comprehensive services for pregnant women, children from birth to age five, and their families. Services for children promote school readiness, and include early education, health, nutrition, mental health, and services for children with special needs.
