202 We are seeking a dedicated and organized Intervention Assistant to join our educational team. This role involves supporting student interventions by working closely with small groups and individual students, under the guidance of the intervention teacher. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for working with children, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of intervention programs and strategies for students needing additional academic support. Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts, provide targeted instruction, and monitor progress. Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt instructional materials to meet the specific needs of students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate this information to teachers and other relevant staff members. Provide classroom support by helping to manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment. Assist with the organization and preparation of instructional resources and materials. Support students in developing effective study habits and organizational skills. Perform other duties as assigned to support the educational objectives of the school.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.

Physical Requirements:
Light Work:

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
