Job Description Overview The position in the J.T. Vaughan Large Animal Teaching Hospital is responsible for assisting with patient care in equine and with patients presenting through the Large Animal Teaching Hospital. This is a weekend shift; Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am - 1:00pm or 1:00pm - 7:00pm. Responsibilities The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assisting with patient care Administering medications Maintaining cleanliness of the hospital Restocking supplies Qualifications Must be enrolled as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine ( DVM) student at Auburn University College Of Veterinary Medicine ( AUCVM) and in good academic standing.
