About The Job Fortis in Dothan is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Medical Assistant to join its faculty. Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Requirements Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
