JOB GOAL

: To assist the After-School teacher in their responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

: High School Diploma or equivalent. Punctuality and regular attendance.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

: Assist in providing a nurturing environment for assigned children. Assist in supervising assigned children at all times. Assist in implementing daily learning activities in accordance with program goals and curriculum. Assist the lead teacher as directed. Interact positively with parents and refers questions and concerns to the Program Lead Teacher. Assist with daily afternoon snack service and clean up. Assist children in maintaining appropriate standards of behavior using non- punitive methods and positive management strategies. Cooperates with other program staff to create and maintain a harmonious and efficient environment. Performs housekeeping duties as assigned. Attends all staff meetings and training sessions. Follow established policies and procedures to safeguard the health and safety of assigned children. Perform any other duties as assigned.
