Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) are seeking enthusiastic Teacher Assistants who are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental delays and disabilities. As a Teacher Assistant, you will work alongside classroom teachers and a team of caring professionals to create engaging learning experiences, encourage developmental growth, and celebrate each child's progress. You will help children strengthen their cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and motor skills through structured activities, play, and individualized support. We primarily serve children from birth through kindergarten and may expand our services during the summer to include elementary school-aged children with special needs. What You'll Do As a Teacher Assistant, you will: Assist the classroom teacher with daily lessons, activities, and routines. Create positive and engaging experiences for children. Help children develop cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and motor skills. Provide individualized encouragement and support based on each child's needs. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom. Actively supervise children throughout the day. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, nurses, and families. Celebrate children's milestones and help prepare them for greater independence and success. Qualifications Education and Certification High school diploma or equivalent required. Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred. Experience At least one year of successful classroom experience working with children, particularly children with developmental delays or disabilities, is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Skills and Abilities A genuine passion for working with children and families. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, coworkers, and leadership. Ability to work with children from birth through age 18, including children and families who may be at risk. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy, team-oriented environment. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet-based programs. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to use sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills. Basic written communication and math skills.
