Qualifications:
High school or general education diploma ParaPro Praxis Assessment, or Associate of Arts degree, or 60 college hours (documentation of completion must be provided) Reports to: Building principal

Not applicable
Terms of Employment:
The contract length will be 180 days.
Evaluation:
Based on local district policy and Arkansas Department of Education guidelines, and performed by the Principal who is assisted by the Assistant Principal in regard to evaluations.
Job Goal:
The Instructional Paraprofessional will endeavor to assist and support teachers and other certified and noncertified personnel in the implementation of instructional programs and services for all students.
Performance Responsibilities:
Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures. Reinforces instructional activities with students, as prescribed. Assists in the preparation of lesson plans and instructional materials. Assumes responsibilities for being prepared to perform instructional duties, as prescribed. Learns the curriculum content of the class to which they are assigned. Assists and implements behavior management and safety procedures consistent with the class, content, and instructor. Assists in data collection, when appropriate. Assists the teacher with maintenance of the classroom. Assists with duties such as lunchroom, recess, bus, etc., when appropriate Attends a minimum of thirty (30) hours of professional development training each year. Participates in staff and faculty meetings. Reports to and completes daily work schedule, as assigned. Other duties, as assigned.
