Job Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for assisting with the bereavement program oversight and implementing strategies to support the organization in the areas of grief and loss. Required to work with the Bereavement Coordinator of Hospice of the Ozarks regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the bereavement program.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in Social Work required.Experience:
12 to 18 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience and training in counseling or bereavement services preferred.Licensure:
Current Arkansas Social Work license in good standing preferred.Other:
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Automobile liability coverage of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident for bodily injury.Primary Source Verification:

Spend 8 hours or more in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift 20 pounds with proper body mechanics. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Ability to drive to patients' homes, Hospice House, and nursing homes. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.Work Environment :
Office setting, within the Hospice House setting and patients' homes and nursing homes. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in an administration building setting. The schedule is based on needs of the bereaved and can be daytime or early evenings. 20 hours a week, flexible schedule.Similar remote jobs
