Paraprofessional (Interventionist)
Summary
Paraprofessional will plan and implement quality, multisensory intervention using an approved district curriculum in small group settings.

District Dyslexia Coordinator, building Principal, and Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction

Education, Experience, Skills, and Certification
Bachelor's Degree (Non-Certified) Preferred
Associate Degree (two year college or technical school) AND/OR a passing score on the Paraprofessional Proficiency Assessment
Must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency with computers, digital platforms, documentation management, screening students, ability to adhere to timelines and schedules, conducting conferences, and other duties as needed
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations

Primary Performance Duties & Responsibilities
Provide interventions under the supervision of the District Dyslexia Coordinator for students identified with Characteristics of Dyslexia as set by Arkansas state requirements.

Follow the district Dyslexia program's guidelines to implement with fidelity. (Redundant)
Maintain all paperwork, data management, folders, and progress monitoring required. Frequently communicate with supervisors, teachers, and parents on student progress.
Attend and complete professional development requirements related to district processes/programs/protocols as needed and/or required.
