To Be Determined Job Description The White Hall School District is seeking a qualified paraprofessional for elementary students. Should have excellent communication skills, provide a positive environment and assist in ongoing assessment of student's learning and progress, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student's needs. The duties would include assisting teachers and staff in assigned responsibilities for all facets of daily activity duties and provide assistance. recess duty and any other duties assigned.
Position Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to promote the development of skills and ensure a safe learning environment. Must adhere to confidentiality policies and practices for student(s) as outlined by the teacher and the principal.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the cafeteria with students meal accounts. Assist in preparation of classroom material. Assist with the assessment and evaluation of learning as necessary. Assist with record keeping and academic reports. Supervise students as assigned and support student learning. Maintain strict confidentiality of students records and data. Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent. Applicants must have a paraprofessional certificate from taking the Praxis or 60 hours or more of college credit. Must pass an Arkansas State Police background check, an FBI check and DHS background check.
