RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the classroom teacher by performing tasks which support the instructional program. Assist in the instruction of students working individually or in small groups. May monitor student activities such as test-taking, study hall, cafeteria or field trips. Distributes materials to students. May facilitate adjustment of new students to program. May assist students with special needs. Performs related duties as required.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
9-month contract, Hourly/Non-Exempt position under FLSA. Placement on Classified salary schedule by the Human Resource Director dependent upon education and experience Benefits
  • All approved benefits for Classified Employees Must p ass Department of Public Safety Fingerprint clearance c heck .
Must be United States citizen or have valid work visa at date of hire with the ability to maintain. All changes in visa status must be reported to Human Resources immediately. Photo identification and work visa, (if necessary), will be needed for fingerprint clearance card and I-9 documentation prior to first day of work.
EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel .
