Instructional Assistant

This is for the 2026-2027 School Year Leading Edge Academy is accepting applications for an Instructional Assistant position. This is for the 2025-2026 school year at our Maricopa Campus. Leading Edge Academy focuses on the whole child, and is proud to offer advanced academics and character development in a technology-enriched environment. Assist students, individually or in groups, to reinforce skills and/or oversee learning activities Follow specific functions as outlined in a written plan to supplement classroom instruction Assist with classroom computer instruction Participate in professional development (site/district) to enhance ability to support student achievement Assist students with various testing activities Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit Supervise students during playground/recess and lunch periods Participate in pick up and drop off activities Various clerical duties related to classroom activities Other duties as assigned by Principal or supervisor

Qualifications:

Must possess a valid IVP Clearance Card at time of starting position Sped experience preferred 60+ college credit hours preferred but not required.
