Arcadia Montessori is a private school founded in 1972. We have 2 beautiful campuses with many gardens and outdoor workspaces. We are currently looking for a friendly and competent teacher assistant to join our team. We are hiring in our Toddler Classroom (18mos-3years) for a shift from 11:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday. The successful candidate must enjoy working with children and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe learning environment. We are currently hiring for multiple positions.

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:

Assisting the lead teacher in safely monitoring the children as they work or engage in work Changing diapers and assisting in potty training Preparing snacks for morning or afternoon time frames Keeping the classroom, both inside and patio, clean and in order Notating incidents, either written or electronic Notating diaper changes and checks; notating toilet success/attempts Engaging and connecting with the children throughout the day Collaborating with one another to ensure a functional environment

Teacher Assistant Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification DPS fingerprint clearance card or have the ability to obtain one prior to start date Maricopa County food handlers' card (may obtain after hire) CPR/First Aide Card (may obtain after hire) Must have a compassionate and positive attitude Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
