Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Instructional Aides
  • Per Diem, School-Based Support
  • Anderson, CA Flexible, as-needed opportunities are available for compassionate individuals to provide critical 1:1 and small-group assistance to students in a school setting.
These per diem positions offer varied shifts based on coverage needs, ideal for professionals seeking meaningful work supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially.
Responsibilities:
  • Support students individually or in small groups under teacher and staff direction
  • Assist with academic tasks, transitions, daily routines, and classroom participation
  • Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
  • Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety and inclusion
  • Maintain a respectful and positive learning environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Up-to-date TB test as required
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
  • Must have or be willing to obtain required district clearances
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in school environments, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Training or certification such as CPI, PMT, or RBT considered a plus
  • Dependable, patient, and collaborative team player
