Monday-Friday 6hrs a day Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special needs students; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of individual education plans; provide routine clerical support. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or equivalent; Experience working with children with special education needs in an organized setting is highly desirable. AA Degree will replace Instructional Assistant Proficiency Exam.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Valid First Aid and CPR certificate. Completion of the Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Physical, and DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearances.
