Mandarin or Japanese Assistant & Aftercare Floater Teacher for 18 months - 6 years old

American International Montessori is a traditional Montessori school, serving students from 18 months through 6th grade in Japanese or Mandarin Chinese language immersion environments. Our innovative, growing program is true to Montessori principles and is run by a highly experienced team who have worked together for many years. We are seeking a full-time native Mandarin or Japanese-speaking floater assistant/aftercare teacher for our Infant Community & Children's House classroom, children ages 18 months-6 years old, to start immediately. Ideal candidate will be able to work 10:00-6:00pm.

Ideal candidates:

• Teaching experience in a Montessori classroom setting is preferred but not required however teaching experience in a classroom setting is required.
• 12 ECE units is

REQUIRED

for this position

• Have a natural team orientation
• Are self-motivated and enthusiastic about working with children
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with parents and colleagues
