Full Job Description Position Description:
All Saints Day School seeks an energetic, proactive, and reflective educator to serve as a TK Associate Teacher. The Associate Teacher supports the TK Lead Teacher in lesson planning and delivery, prepares materials, maintains classroom organization, and helps supervise students throughout the day. Each educator at All Saints is responsible for creating a classroom community where students feel known, supported, and engaged. Faculty work to understand each child from multiple perspectives and use engaging, developmentally appropriate teaching practices that support the whole child. All Saints faculty build meaningful bonds with students, maintain high standards, teach children to engage in respectful and kind behavior, and promote a love of learning. This is a full-time, non-exempt benefits-eligible position.Starts:
August 2026Anticipated Compensation :
$25 - $27.50 The school offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 403(b) retirement plan; paid sick leave; optional employee-funded benefits; and tuition remission for eligible employees' children enrolled at All Saints.D uties and responsibilities:
Support lead homeroom teacher(s) in their lesson planning and delivery. Help prepare materials for lessons, bulletin boards, parent conferences, and other activities. Work with students individually or in small groups for academic extension or intervention activities. Assist classroom teachers in administering and documenting grade-level assessments. Support the implementation of the accommodations outlined in students' Learning Plans. Participate in parent-teacher conferences as requested by supervisor or homeroom teacher(s). Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, the playground, and on field trips. Help prepare classrooms during faculty work week prior to the opening of school. Supervise in the aftercare program. Assist in completing all of the year-end responsibilities before leaving for summer vacation. Requirements High school diploma required (associate's degree or college degree preferred) Two or more years of early childhood experience preferred Knowledge of child development Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom community where diverse perspectives are valued Comfort using technology to support teaching and learning Creativity, flexibility, and a growth mindsetSimilar jobs in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA
