Length of Work Year 2026-27 school year Employment Type Part Time About the Employer Please email lhines@castlerockschool.net Job Summary Job Summary Castle Rock Union Elementary School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Classroom Instructional Aide to support student learning and contribute to a positive educational environment. Under the direction of the classroom teacher and site administration, the Instructional Aide provides academic, behavioral, and supervisory support to students in both classroom and school settings. This position plays a vital role in helping students achieve success by providing instructional assistance, individualized support, and supervision during school activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Instructional Support ? Assist teachers with the preparation and implementation of instructional activities and materials. ? Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic concepts and classroom lessons. ? Support student engagement and participation in classroom activities. ? Observe and report student progress, behavior, and learning needs to the classroom teacher. ? Assist in maintaining a positive, organized, and productive learning environment. Student Support Services ? Provide one-on-one support for students as assigned. ? Assist students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and organizational needs. ? Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior support strategies as directed by teachers and support staff. ? Encourage student independence and success while maintaining appropriate supervision. Student Supervision ? Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and other non-classroom activities. ? Promote a safe and respectful school environment. ? Enforce school rules and procedures while ensuring student safety. Additional Responsibilities ? Assist with clerical duties, including attendance, copying, filing, grading, and organizing instructional materials. ? Support school programs, special events, field trips, and extracurricular activities as assigned. ? Collaborate wi Requirements / Qualifications Qualifications ? High school diploma or equivalent required. ? Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. ? Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. ? Must meet all state and district requirements for employment.
