14 Per Hour Length of Work Year 181 Days Per Year Employment Type Full Time Competency Exam Monday, June 15th, 2026 (during the day) Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of assigned supervisor and in accordance with the Individualized Education Program (IEP), provide support and assistance to the classroom teacher in the development and implementation of intensive behavioral supports to students with behavioral issues including implementation of comprehensive positive behavioral support plans, effective behavior management strategies, and data collection. Participate in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to meet the behavioral social-emotional needs of identified students. - Transcripts displaying completion of 48 or more college units
- Proof of passing CBEST
- Valid CA teaching credential Will not need to take the written exam.
If you do not have any of the above mentioned items and have not previously passed the District's Competency test you will have to take the written exam. A study guide is available for this written exam only and can be obtained by emailing AHoff@chicousd.org.
