Position Information:

Supported Living Instructor Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license that is currently in good standing with a good record. Reliable transportation. Willing to submit to a background check. Must work on the weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Must be able to communicate clearly in English. Applicant must have a positive, supportive, patient and caring attitude. Applicant must be willing to follow instructions and learn how to support and teach self-reliance to individual(s) with disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications in the Human Services field Prior experience in the Human Services field. Beginner Level proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach adult individual(s) living skills. Support and encourage individual(s) with following their goals. Assure the safety of individual(s) and respect their rights. Complete CPR and First-Aid training within 30 days of hire date and keep current thereafter. Complete required training and ongoing training related to the area of work.

Base Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
