Pay range:
$16.90-$18.50 (Must have riding experience) Western Camps, Inc. are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and has a passion for horses. This role involves teaching kids about horse, from care and behavior to riding and safety, in a fun, engaging, and educational way. This position is ideal for candidates with experience as a Wrangler, Horseback Riding Instructor, Equine Educator, Horse Care Specialist, or Youth Equine Program Leader, with hands-on experience in horse care, riding, horsemanship, safety, and working with children.
Responsibilities:
Teach children about horse care, behavior, and safety around horses Lead riding lessons or horsemanship activities appropriate to skill level Make learning fun and interactive by blending science, care, and riding Supervise and support children to ensure a safe and positive environment Care for horses and maintain a clean, organized learning space
Qualifications:
Experience working with horses (riding, care, or instruction) Enjoys working with children and teaching in a patient, engaging way Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Reliability and responsibility around both kids and animals Bonus Skills (Preffered): Previous experience teaching or leading children's programs Knowledge of horse anatomy, behavior, or training method
Schedule:
Day shift Afternoon shift Flexible Schedule Weekends (As Needed)
