School Aide / Instructional Aide Opportunities - Covina & Surrounding Areas Make a Difference in Students' Lives Every Day with Amergis Amergis is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated School Aides/Instructional Aides to support students in Fontana and surrounding communities. Position Overview The School Aide works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under the supervision of the Special Education Department, classroom teacher, and/or designated school staff. School Aides may also assist students with personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic support needs as directed by educational and healthcare professionals.

$18-$21 per hour Weekly Pay No Weekends What You'll Do As an Instructional Aide, you will help create a positive and supportive learning environment for students while assisting teachers in daily classroom activities. Responsibilities Assist teachers with classroom instruction, activities, and classroom management Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students Follow IEP goals and objectives, including academic and behavioral support plans Reinforce positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe learning environment Support instructional activities, accommodations, and learning materials Facilitate learning activities, worksheets, reinforcement systems, and small-group projects Assist with programs developed by educational specialists such as PTs, OTs, and SLPs Help students develop independence through self-care and daily living skills when needed Communicate relevant information to teachers and school staff Collaborate with educators and support teams to meet student needs Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow teacher direction and support classroom routines Reliable, patient, and committed to student success Current CPR certification if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray if applicable Current Health Certificate if applicable Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements CPI training required (orientation provided) Benefits At Amergis, we believe our employees are the heartbeat of our organization.We are proud to offer:
