QUALIFICATIONS 1.
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year experience working with school age children in organization or learning environment. Must have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education or obtained an AA degree or higher. 2. Assist with instruction and related activities in a classroom or assigned learning environment. 3. Reinforce instruction to individual or small groups of students as directed by the teacher. 4. Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of classroom activities. 5. Learn guidelines and materials related to the reading program as assigned by the position. 6. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans. 7. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 8. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 9. Monitor, observe and report student behavior and progress according to approved policies and procedures. 10. Operate standard office and classroom equipment. 11. Observe health and safety regulations. Maintain records and files. 12. Must have a Valid CPR & First Aid certificate, possession of a valid California's Class C driver's license.BEGINNING DATE
