Key Responsibilities Classroom Support:
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and creating a safe, fun, and stimulating classroom environment. Daily Routines:
Help guide children through daily routines, transitions, classroom activities, and outdoor play. Child Development:
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and language development through positive reinforcement and engagement. Classroom Management:
Reinforce classroom routines and behavioral expectations in a warm, encouraging, and positive manner. Bilingual Environment:
Help foster a positive, language-rich learning atmosphere that supports our school's bilingual curriculum. Communication:
Maintain open, friendly, and effective communication with children, families, and team members. Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree (AA) with at least 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units . Certifications:
Valid CPR and First Aid certifications. Health & Clearance:
Must pass background checks (Fingerprint/Live Scan clearance), TB testing, and provide an up-to-date immunization record/health screening. Professionalism:
High reliability, excellent attendance, and a strong sense of responsibility toward the workplace. Core Competencies & Skills Deep passion for working with young children and a strong team-oriented mindset. High energy, patience, creativity, and adaptability in a dynamic school setting. A welcoming, approachable, and professional demeanor with children, families, and colleagues. Prior teaching or caregiving experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is highly preferred (but a great attitude and passion are key!).
