Job Summary Substitute Instructional Assistants - Special Education and/or Instructional Assistants/Personal Care Assistants assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction and care to individual or small groups of students. Substitute assignments are throughout district at middle and high schools in Special Education classrooms. Typical assignments are 5.5 or 6 hours per day. Requirements / Qualifications This recruitment is posted as continuous filing due to anticipated vacancies throughout the school year. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications participate in an examination consisting of math, English and writing, weight: 100%. Must pass a drug, alcohol and tuberculin skin test as well as a fingerprint/background check. Comments and Other Information
