Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners during their most formative years. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Your energy and compassion will foster positive experiences that promote growth, curiosity, and a love of learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while gaining valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on infant and toddler development, including sensory activities, motor skill exercises, and social interactions Provide attentive supervision and care to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times Support children with basic needs such as diapering, feeding, and comforting to promote emotional security Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and social skills among children Experience Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare, daycare center, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred but not necessary Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to manage classroom activities with patience, creativity, and professionalism Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or related health & safety training is advantageous Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education environments will help you succeed in this role Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to fostering joyful learning experiences for our youngest community members!
