Qualifications:

ASL certification or appropriate credential required Experience working as a paraprofessional in educational environments preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to diverse learning and classroom needs Demonstrated professionalism and reliability Passion for facilitating student engagement and inclusion

Responsibilities:

Provide direct ASL interpretation support for students throughout the school day Assist students with classroom activities, assignments, and interactions Support instructional goals set by teachers and special education staff Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with hearing impairments Document student progress and report observations to educators as needed Collaborate with teachers and therapists to modify materials and strategies for student success Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and educational plans
