Immediately Job Description Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is nestled in the foothills about 50 miles northeast of San Diego, California. The District extends from the Pacific Ocean I-5 (San Clemente Area) and East of the 1-15. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner: Assists students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide oral support in a non-judgemental, non-reactive manner. Assists instructional personnel with the development of a variety of instructional materials. Assist in the presentation of physical and digital learning materials and instructional tasks. Performs other related job duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate's Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with people of various cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, preferably including children with special needs, supplemented by courses in atypical students, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Please provide 2 references (Preferably at least one from a supervisor•letters should be dated within the past year).

Proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate or Bachelor's degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application. It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
