Job Description

Empower students while making a difference as a contract professional in a school setting near Fontana, CA. What Were Looking For:
Valid Paraprofessional certification for California (CA Para license required) Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), with experience as a Paraprofessional, Sign Language Interpreter, or ASL Teacher preferred Background working with school-aged children or adolescents, ideally in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to work across multiple schools within a district-wide assignment Collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers, students, and other staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and interpretation services for students using ASL in classroom and school environments Assist teachers in adapting instructional materials and activities for students requiring ASL support Foster an environment conducive to learning, participation, and social development Help monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to educational staff Adapt to varied caseloads as district needs and assignments evolve This contract opportunity offers a unique path to enrich students lives and expand your professional skills.
