This contract position offers the chance to make a difference in local schools, working closely with students and educators in a collaborative environment for 30 hours per week. Dedicated individuals are needed for two open positions, providing essential support for educational and classroom activities.

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred Ability to follow teacher guidance and implement classroom plans Strong communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to student needs Comfortable working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team Commitment to upholding a safe and positive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

Support instruction and daily activities in both individual and group settings Assist students who may require additional guidance or special accommodations Help organize classroom materials and help maintain order during lessons Monitor and encourage student participation and engagement Collaborate effectively with supervising teachers and other staff Contribute to the positive culture of the school and uphold its educational mission Working in the scenic Mt Shasta region, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills while providing meaningful assistance in an uplifting academic environment. The contract nature of this position also allows for a clear schedule with a consistent number of weekly hours.
