The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported in their learning journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support children with special needs or unique learning requirements. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, assessments, and attendance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Qualifications Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices. Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children. Relevant educational qualifications in Early Childhood Education or related fields are preferred.
