Length of Work Year 182 Employment Type Full Time About the Employer The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0-1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. With small class sizes, a focus on a science based approach to literacy, STEAM, and strong community partnerships, GUSD is committed to a district vision providing powerful instruction, purposeful individualization, and productive partnerships that lead to positive evidence of student growth and success. Job Summary Job Summary El Camino School Hours 7:30am to 3:30pm except 7:30am to 2:30pm on Thursdays. Under the direction of assigned administrator and certificated staff, assists in providing instruction and supervision to single student; observes, monitors, documents, and reports student progress regarding academics, social skills, and behavior; and performs related duties as assigned.
