Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a supportive educational role is highly valued Strong communication skills to assist both teachers and students Patience and empathy when working with children with diverse abilities Ability to follow teachers guidance while taking initiative in adapting support strategies Familiarity with classroom management and individualized education plans is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students under the direction of certified teaching staff Assist with educational activities, classroom management, and daily routines at the school Implement individualized instructional plans and modifications as needed Foster a safe, respectful learning environment for all learners Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff This contract role covers 30 hours per week, allowing for a balanced schedule while making a profound difference in students lives.
