What We're Looking For:

Minimum age of 18 years High school diploma or GED required At least one year of experience working with children or within a group childcare setting Successful completion of (or willingness to complete) the Instructional Assistant Exam, unless possessing a Bachelor's degree with relevant coursework, AA degree, or 48+ college-level units Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds to support materials management Track record of professionalism, reliability, and positive references (three required) Must complete Livescan fingerprinting and TB testing

Highly Desired Skills & Experience:

Previous paraprofessional or instructional support experience in school settings Background in science disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics), engineering, or basic science lab skills Experience with creative instruction methods such as performance, skits, arts, or storytelling Progress toward or possession of a teaching credential is a major advantage
