With a consistent 30-hour work week, you'll positively influence learning environments at local schools in partnership with the Siskiyou County Office of Education. We are seeking two committed individuals who are passionate about assisting students and educators.

Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in an academic setting preferred Ability to provide one-on-one and group support to students in classrooms Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Patience, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for student achievement Capacity to follow teacher direction and implement instructional strategies Completion of all required background checks

Primary Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers by assisting with instructional activities and supervising students Work with individual students or small groups on assignments or behavioral goals Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning atmosphere Assist with record keeping, progress tracking, and preparation of learning materials Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development This position offers consistent daytime hours, with the added benefits of working in a rewarding field and gaining hands-on experience in education.
