Job Description

Make a real difference every day by providing support to students as a contract paraprofessional in the Mt. Shasta area. Paraprofessionals play a critical role in helping students reach their full potential, and your dedication will be truly valued.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Ability to follow teacher directives and work independently when needed High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus
Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers by assisting with instructional activities and classroom management Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special learning needs Foster a positive, respectful, and nurturing environment for all students Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and implementation of lesson plans Monitor student progress and provide relevant feedback to teachers Contribute to a safe and orderly classroom atmosphere This role requires a commitment of 30 hours per week in a contract capacity, supporting students and staff near Hornbrook and throughout the Mt.
