AND:
- Minimum of six (6) college units successfully completed ("C" grade or better) in the area of Child development (focusing on children age birth - 9 years old).
- Six (6) months experience in working with children in an educational setting.
- Desirable qualifications include first aid/CPR certificate, bilingual, experience in Early Intervention Program, and willingness to attend professional development to gain knowledge and skills in Early Childhood Education.
- Two (2) recent letters of reference.
- Certificate or Transcripts.
- To be considered, all requirements must be attached when submitting the completed application.

SCORING:
Written examination will carry a weight of 100%. All examinations must pass with 75% or better. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until less than 3 applicants remain on the list. If five (5) qualified applicants from the Lancaster School District demonstrate the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis.
