9658997-95403 Job Description Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in PreK12 settings as a dedicated contract paraprofessional. With several openings available, you'll work closely with students in both one-to-one situations and self-contained classrooms, making a direct impact throughout the academic year. This assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering a steady, fulfilling role at 32.5 hours per week across five days. Pay for this position may range from $20$24, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
Key Qualifications:
Previous paraprofessional experience in school environments is highly desirable. CPI certification or equivalent behavioral intervention training is preferred. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are strongly encouraged to apply. Capable of responding to and supporting students with severe behavioral needs. Proficient in implementing and documenting behavioral interventions as required. Comfortable collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families. Reliable, adaptable, and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support for students requiring individualized attention and assistance. Assist with instructional and non-instructional tasks within self-contained classrooms. Carry out behavior intervention plans and help monitor student progress. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. Support teachers by adapting assignments and reinforcing lesson material. Maintain accurate records of behavior and student achievements.
