Job Description

This full-time paraprofessional position offers an engaging environment where youll play a key role alongside educational staff, making a true difference each day. The assignment is conveniently located near Live Oak, CA, with a 32-hour work week, providing a balanced and impactful schedule.
Qualifications and Skills:
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued No EIPA required for this role Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in helping young learners succeed Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers and therapists Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one ASL interpretation and communication support for a male elementary school student Assist the student in academic activities and classroom routines Encourage participation, engagement, and independent skill-building Support social integration and develop positive peer relationships Collaborate with educational teams to adapt instructional materials and activities for accessibility Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff as needed This role offers a chance to make a significant impact in a students educational journey, working on a school campus in a collaborative and supportive setting.
