Loma Linda, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities Assisting with ADLs Cleaning Experience working with adults with disabilities Meal assistance Full Job Description Overview We are seeking Program Aides to join our team in providing compassionate, hands-on support to severely and profoundly developmentally disabled adults in a structured day program environment. Position Responsibilities Program Aides work as part of a small group team, typically supporting three clients, and assist individuals with daily activities designed to promote independence, participation, socialization, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting clients with self-help and daily living skills according to their individual abilities and program plans.
  • Providing support with personal grooming and hygiene.
  • Participating in and facilitating adapted recreational games, sensory activities, and structured group activities.
  • Assisting clients with arts and crafts, music, and other creative activities.
  • Supporting and accompanying clients on community outings and recreational activities.
  • Assisting assigned clients with feeding and meal-time routines, including following individual dietary and feeding instructions.
  • Assisting clients with toileting and personal care according to their individual schedules and needs.
  • Providing close supervision and maintaining a safe, clean, respectful, and supportive environment.
  • Following established health, safety, infection-control, and emergency procedures.
  • Working cooperatively with other Program Aides, supervisors, and professional staff to meet each client's individual needs.
  • Maintaining a patient, respectful, and person-centered approach while encouraging clients to participate to the fullest extent of their abilities.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
